The Medical Intensive Care Unit cares for a patient population including multiple and complex medical diagnoses including but not limited to DKA, Respiratory Failure, sepsis, and stroke/tPA. The nurses utilize the hypothermic protocol in post-arrest patients. The MICU is great place to grow your knowledge and clinical skills while working in a team environment and develops and grows the team. Our nurses are trained in caring for patient with CRRT and are ACLS and NIH certified.
