SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Penn State Health Lime Spring Clinic is located in iconic Lancaster, PA! Acting primarily as a general medicine office with Orthopedics, Endocrinology, and Infectious Diseases as featured sub-specialties, the Lime Spring Clinic is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the team. This clinic sees an average of 300 patients/day. The hired LPN will be expected to fulfill their regular work schedule as well as work one late evening/week and complete a Saturday rotation once a month. The LPN will be expected to room patients, execute Point-of-Care tests, perform EKGs, and perform phlebotomy. The LPN will also be administering vaccines/medications and setting up for in-house procedures. Clerically, the LPN will chart prep, refill prescriptions, and restock the patient rooms and labs. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
- Currently licensed to practice as a licensed practical nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate LPN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required prior to completion of orientation.
