Assesses, Plans, Implements, Evaluates and Directs nursing care for individual/group of patients, with a family centered care focus. Able to work on an on-call basis as needed. Must be able to work independently and prioritize patients/staff needs.
Responsibilities: 1.Assessments must be completed according to policy/procedure
2.Assess and reassess pain and effects of pain management techniques
3.Assess and document the current status of the patient, their nursing care needs including biophysical, Psycho-social, environmental, self-care, educational, and discharge.
4.Other duties as required.
Other information: Technical Expertise
1.Experience working with all levels within an organization is preferred.
2.Experience in healthcare is preferred.
3.Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required. HRIS is preferred. Benefits Carrier platforms is required.
Education and Experience
1.Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Ohio.
2.Certification: BLS, must complete hospital requirements for PICC competency within 3 months of hire. PALS every year and sedation education must be completed within 6 months of hire and maintained.
3.Years of experience: 2 years of clinical nursing experience required, with at least 1 years of hands-on IV insertion experience required.
