Licensed Practical Nurse (Intermittent)
The incumbent assists and cares for patients/residents in the inpatient and outpatient setting, communicates with other members of the healthcare team regarding patient/resident concerns and personal observations, and carries out orders and the plan of care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Independent Practitioner (LIP). More senior and higher graded Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses (LPN) may provide guidance, support, and instructions.
