The Hemodialysis Registered Nurse falls under the clinical pathway, as a direct care nurse, and reports to the Clinical Manager, Surgical Specialty Care Service Line. The Hemodialysis RN takes care of veteran patients undergoing hemodialysis in outpatient and inpatient settings; including supporting Intensive Care Unit Staff (ICU) RNs with Sustained Low-Efficiency Dialysis (SLED) and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT). Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
