Position Summary:Sign-on Bonus available to external applicants! This is an inpatient unit that is located in the Emergency Department. Patients who are in the ED and being admitted, will go to the Adult Admission Unit where the staff will do the admission and then transfer them to one of the inpatient units. This is a fast-paced unit that will not care for ICU or ED patients. Work within the nursing process to provide direct nursing care to assigned patients. Provide clinical leadership for other staff and assumes relief charge duties when designated. Serve as a role model to promote a positive work environment and quality patient care.
