Pediatric Nurse Extern - Ambulatory Treatment Center (Infusions) SUMMARY: Performs nursing activities that have been documented as learned in the nursing program; may assist with medication administration upon completion of the pediatric theory and clinical course work, and successful completion of the Valley Children's medication examination. The Ambulatory Treatment Center provides hospital setting medical treatment for children needing various infusions. Infusion therapy is administered to infants, children and adolescents in the Ambulatory Treatment Center (ATC) at Valley Children's. The ATC is staffed by a team of nurses who infuse blood products, medications and fluids, monitor for medication side effects and coordinate care. The Ambulator
