The Registered Nurse for IV Therapy performs primary functions in assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients receiving any form of IV Therapy. Patients served include the days-old infant to and including the elderly. Is responsible for meeting established standards of Nursing Practice and for managing supplies & equipment in the delivery of IV Therapy. Is responsible for development and promoting collaborative & collegial relationships with physicians & intra-hospital personnel as they relate to the care of the patient receiving Intravenous Therapy.
Looking for and experienced RN with excellent vascular access skills, experience with phlebotomy technique as well. IVT experience preferred but not required. Must have good communication and time management skills. This is a 24 hour, night position.
Current Massachusetts RN licensure. BCLS Required
