Geisinger Careworks clinicians diagnose and treat common medical problems including sore throats, earaches, sinus infections, flu, urinary tract infections and more. They also provide routine health exams, immunizations, screenings and wellness services. Services at some clinics may also include x-ray, EKG, IV hydration, and phlebotomy.
Careworks consists of 18 clinic sites throughout central, south-western and northeast Pennsylvania and is seeking experienced nurse practitioner and physician assistant to join our growing team. Float positions receive a $5/hr. float premium

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Advanced practitioners must have at least six months of primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care or critical care advanced practice professional experience and able to treat patients age one and older.
The successful Physician Assistant candidate will work under the responsibility and supervision of the physician and require completion of an ARC-PA approved physician assistant program, NCCPA certification or eligibility and Pennsylvania State licensure. Six months of primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care or critical care experience is required.
The successful Nurse Practitioner candidate will work in collaboration with the physician and have a certificate of completion from an approved program for Nurse Practitioners, be eligible for or hold current national certification that allows NP to work with the patient populations and location settings associated with this position (adults and children one year and older ). Must be eligible for licensure by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. Six months of primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care or critical care experience is required.
NEW GRADUATE CRNP:
Candidates with at least 12 months of nursing experience in Emergency medicine, Intensive Care unit or Urgent Care may be considered
