The basic function of this role is: - To assist the director or supervisor in the organization and daily function of the Infusion Center in accordance with established federal, state, and accreditation standards, regulations and Center policies and procedures. - To assist the Hematology Oncology Providers and Nurse Supervisor in overseeing patient care activities in the Infusion Center. - To maintain high standard of safety for the patient and staff members. - To serve as patient liaison for care rendered. - To monitor stock levels, outdated supplies and equipment needs and report to Nurse Supervisor/Clinic Administrator.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education A. RN required education B. BSN preferred Experience A. 5 years RN experience , 2 years Infusion Center experience or equivalent IV experience B. Ambulatory Infusion Center setting Licenses A. RN, CPR, (ACLS or willing to obtain), Completion annually of 10 CEU’s related to Oncology, OCN certification within 12 months of employment. B. OCN Certification Special Skills A. Basic computer skills
Other A. Clear communication skills. Ability to train clinical staff. Flexible work hours.
